The old Taff Vale Rly signal box is on the left in the distance and the then in-use Cogan Jct signal box lies to the right. The Cogan-Grangetown road viaduct now spans the scene near the signal boxes and for this installation the embankment was levelled. The 3-doll bracket signal on the right, has already lost its 3ft arm on the low doll , as Cogan sidings down goods loop had been taken out of use. Llandough sidings 2 30 North 14-May-66 11.27
